Oby Rogers
Oby was born and raised in Collins, Mississippi and graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Ole Miss in 1986. His passion and enthusiasm for law developed during his youth, after joining a debate class while attending school in Cambridge, England. After realizing he had a knack for persuasion, Oby decided he would dedicate his life to convincing people, mostly large insurance and trucking companies, to adopt a mindset that is not their norm in order to ensure victory for his clients.
After graduating, he began practicing law with a midsize defense firm in Alabama, then known as Lyons, Pipes & Cook (now, Phelps Dunbar), and later, with one of the largest defense firm in New Orleans, Adams & Reese. In 1992, he opened his private practice, Oby T. Rogers PLLC, which represents clients nationwide and is located on the second heaviest traveled corridor in the state of Mississippi. His firm works with a staff that includes a Registered Nurse, two investigators and two paralegals, each with more than 20 years of experience.
Our strength lies in early case development, damage development, and identifying ways to circumvent the usually extended litigation process. Our personalized handling of each case is unmatched, because we pride ourselves on the fact that the entire practice is driven by each client's needs. This allows us to be passionate about our work, and each one of our clients is carefully selected with the goal of delivering the best results possible for them and their families. This means we only work with a handful of cases each year, allowing us to give each case the individual attention it needs. Oby is passionate about his clients and he develops a connection with each case and family in order to become the advocate they can count on. In his spare time he enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with his two grandchildren.
